Dr. Elaine Otchere is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon based in Austin, Texas. She provides expert, patient-centered care in the surgical treatment of skin cancer, with particular attention to precision and aesthetics. Dr. Otchere is committed to delivering excellent outcomes through her expertise in Mohs surgery.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Otchere earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She then completed a dual Doctor of Medicine and Master of Arts degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she also received numerous research and leadership awards.

Following medical school, she completed dermatology residency at Duke University. During her time at Duke, she served as Chief Resident and was active in clinical education, community outreach, and patient safety initiatives. Dr. Otchere then went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Iowa, a top program nationally for advanced skin cancer treatment.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Otchere is passionate about mentorship, innovation, and education. She has led and contributed to numerous outreach initiatives and founded a medical technology team during her time in St. Louis. Dr. Otchere is proud to serve communities throughout Central Texas.
